Linux/Ubuntu Secured Setup

INTRODUCTION:
Setting up a secured Linux/Ubuntu computer is recommended for computer programmers only, not for regular users. Click here to download the zip file Linux | Ubuntu -- Secured Setup which contains the scripts that necessary to set Linux/Ubuntu box secured from hacking. You can try this secured setup for your computer with your own risk.

Prepararation -- Linux/Ubuntu Secured Setup

  1. LinuxMasterHackedProcessKiller.sh:
    Main script execute ./LinuxMouseKeyboardSetter.sh; ./LinuxDisplayRateSetter.sh & ./HackedProcessKiller[daemon].sh.
  2. LinuxMouseKeyboardSetter.sh (call java utillity):
    Prevent Keyboard & Mouse hacking.
  3. LinuxMouseKeyboardSetter.jar:
    Java utillity disable hacked components to prevent hacking.
  4. LinuxDisplayRateSetter.sh (call java utillity):
    Change Display frequency to a random frequency from 55.00 - 99.99 to prevent remote viewers.
  5. LinuxDisplayRateSetter.jar:
    Java utillity set random display frequency to prevent remote viewers.
  6. HackedProcessKiller[daemon].sh:
    Run periodically killing Linux hacked processes.
  7. PsAuxInputFileHackedProcKiller.sh (is called by HackedProcessKiller[daemon].sh):
    Killall Linux hacked processes defined in file PsAuxInputFileHackedProc.list.
  8. PsAuxInputFileHackedProc.list:
    Defined list of Linux hacked processes to be killed by PsAuxInputFileHackedProcKiller.sh.
  9. RemoveLinuxHackedProcesses.sh:
    Standalone one time remove Linux hacked daemons.

System Settings

Remove Ubuntu Software download/updates as set as followings:

System Display Settings

Set the system display to prevent remote viewers

System Network & Bluetooth Settings

System Security & Privacy Settings

System Video & Sound Settings

Disable other applications and commands

Finally, Open Start Application from searching top left icon and remove other startup programs, and check system monitor.
If you program with Eclipse IDE, then you may need to disable all the network or team control related.
